Project Description

Fleurieu Civil & Construction were engaged by SA Water to install 981m of DN300 DICL in Hamley Bridge.

The project included the development of a new service road and the management of local vegetation through thorough environmental considerations.

The construction included:

• 981m of DN300 DICL pipe (ductil iron cement lined)

• 48m of DN100 DICL

• Installation of 3 stop valve assemblies

• 6 x stop valve assemblies

• 3 x fire plugs

• Reinstatement of roads

• Full system flush, chlorination, and commissioning

The project was executed on time, on budget, and with zero safety events. A great achievement by the team working in a remote environment.
